What is the name of this movie and actress?

This particular movie is about a blind girl that is held captive (i guess) in her grandmother’s house. The criminal has a wounded leg. In the end of the movie she kills the criminal’s brother and him with a hand gun.
The girl that plays the blind girl looks a whole lot like Alison Lohman from White Oleander.

The Princess Bride, Julie Andrews.
