What is the best way to become an actress?

Websites… Agents… Scouts…

I am an aspiring actress and i am currently on a website. Is that enough?

nope not enough, try taking classes with a company like John Powers (singing, modeling, acting, singing, the whole deal) and go from there to work your way up, starting with smaller parts, and eventually you could get somewhere :]

take classes from CYT, and try out for some plays, if you’re under 18. If you’re older, take singing lessons at church, or if there is a such class for adults, take acting or musical theater class, and then try out for a minor play. If they think you’re really good, get yourself an agent. I recommend Portia Sanders, Kristin Chenoweth’s agent.

Calling yourself an actress and being online is not nearly enough. In order to be an actress you need to ACT. So take advantage of every chance you get to act, whether it is in a local play or a local commercial. Acting classes in your city are also a good idea. Continue acting as much as possible.
