American Actress

Most of the images of movie actress, actors and models etc. are available on thousands on sites (some of which are very popular such as indiatimes.com etc.) on the net. Who owns the copyright to these images and how can hundreds of these sites display these images? I’m quite sure not every one of these sites have the required permission to upload these images on there sites. So whats the right way of hosting such a movie gallery site which has images to various commonly found images of celebs.
